The Riot Games and Giant Slayer dynamic duo continues for Set 8! The Defender Cup is your first step on the road to becoming a hero!
Players will be rewarded with Qualifier Points based on their performance, with the top earners at the end of each set making their way to the Monsters Attack! Mid-Set Finale and the Monsters Attack! NA Regional Finals.
This cup will also qualify four players directly to the Monsters Attack! Mid-Set Finale.
The highest ranked 160 players to sign up for the tournament will be invited, with the top 32 of those players being seeded directly into day 3 of the tournament.

Eligibility
- Permanent resident of NA.
- Top 160 ranked players based off of sign ups and January 9 snapshot.
- Players must sign up before the sign up form closes.
Day 1 - January 14, 1 PM PST
128 players play 6 games with lobbies being reseeded every 2 games. Top 64 move on to Day 2. Bonus points are awarded at the end of the day to begin Day 2 with:
- Top 24: 1 point head start
- Top 16: 2 point head start
- Top 8: 3 point head start
Day 2 - January 15, 1 PM PST
64 players play 6 games with lobbies being reseeded every 2 games. Top 32 move on to Day 3, joining the 32 auto-qualified players.
Day 3 - January 21, 1 PM PST
64 players play 6 games with lobbies being reseeded every 2 games. Top 32 move on to Day 4. Bonus points are awarded at the end of the day to begin Day 4 with:
- Top 12: 1 point head start
- Top 8: 2 point head start
- Top 4: 3 point head start
Day 4 - January 22, 1 PM PST
32 players play 5 games with lobbies being reseeded every 2 games. The top 16 players then play one more game, with the top 8 advancing to the Final Lobby and qualifying to Day 3 of the Corrupted Cup.
Final Lobby: The 8 remaining players play an additional game without a point reset. Top 4 point earners qualify to Monsters Attack! Mid-Set Finale.
